Fr. Andrew Devadason
(Vicar of St Paul's Milagiriya)
Fr. Andrew Devadason was an accountant who became a clergyman to serve God. His calling is to take the love of Christ who has promised fullness of life to all. He has a flair for leadership and have a passion to build and serve the under privileged communities irrespective of religious, ethnic, color and cast differences. He has a particular interest in the tea estate plantation communities in Sri lanka and in conducting training in the areas of leadership and community development.
He has been a clergyman of the Anglican Church for over 18 years and also serves as the Chaplain for S. Thomas' Preparatory School, Kollupitiya.
The mission plan of our church is based on the acronym RISE (revitalize, inculcate, shed it off, emerge a new. The current slowdown created by the pandemic is considered as an opportunity to revisit and revitalize (R) our systems/activities/HR by (I) inculcating/ imputing new methods or persons and by (S) shedding off what is not vital or to (E) emerge anew to take advantage of the opportunities.
We strive to enhance the mission and ministry of this church and emerge as a model church in the diocese of Colombo.
